Australia’s greatest cycling event, the Santos Tour Down Under will welcome the best cyclists from around the world to South Australia to celebrate 20 years of history in January 2018.
The event, first staged in 1999, has a rich history and has grown year on year to become the biggest cycling race in the southern hemisphere. In 2008 the TDU joined the prestigious UCI WorldTour, the first event outside cycling's traditional home of Europe to do so.
The elite of world cycling including Peter Sagan, Cadel Evans, Marcel Kittel, Andy Schleck and Andre Greipel have all come to conquer the roads.
The 2018 Santos Tour Down Under is looking to be just as exciting with new race stages and a wide range of events, including the biggest bike expo in Australia and an opportunity to ride the same stage as the pros on the same day in the Bupa Challenge Tour.
The Santos Tour Down Under is an action-packed nine days of world-class cycling with gala dinners, participation rides for all ages and abilities, street parties, concerts and an amazing atmosphere.
