2016 Barossa Trust Mark Licencees Awarded

Mark of respect - supporting Barossa’s finest 

Ten food, wine and tourism businesses in the Barossa have received membership to the Barossa Trust Mark (BTM) program – in order to boost the profile of the region. 

The latest trust mark holders were officially welcomed to the scheme – which was launched in 2013 – yesterday at the Murray Street Vineyards in Greenock.

The latest businesses to receive BTM licences are:  

  • Barossa Coffee Roasters 
  • Eleni Michau – Breads, Pastries and Baked Goods 
  • Hentley Farm – Clos Otto Shiraz 
  • Hutton Vale Farm – Farm Produce and Products
  • Hutton Vale Farm – On-Farm Experiences 
  • Murray Street Vineyards – Tasting Room Experience  
  • Murray Street Vineyards – The Barossa (SGM blend) 
  • Taste Eden Valley Cellar Door 
  • Teusner Wines – Joshua Grenache Mataro Shiraz Blend 
  • The Dairyman Barossa – Farm Produce 
  • Thorn-Clarke Wines – William Randell Shiraz 
  • Turkey Flat Vineyards Cellar Door 

In addition to the new licencees, the program is also launching today a refreshed marketing campaign and new website explaining the basis of the unique and prestigious award. 

The BTM was established to create a credible certification for Barossa brands, products and services.

The State Government contributed $40,000 towards the new marketing campaign and website from the Supporting Brands of our Key Regions Program – a 2014 State Labour election commitment.





Background 

The BTM will be promoted through the business’s products, services, websites and brochures.

The project is another example of how the State Government’s Premium food and wine produced in our clean environment and exported to the world economic priority is delivering positive outcomes for our food and wine industries and regional economies.

Launched in September 2013 the BTM was developed by the Barossa Grape & Wine Association (BGWA) in partnership with Barossa Food and Tourism Barossa, with support from Primary Industries and Regions South Australia (PIRSA).
