Welcome to the nab Barossa Gourmet Weekend 2012.  An event that promises to warm your senses…

Less than an hour’s drive from Adelaide on the Northern Expressway, the nab Barossa Gourmet Weekend is a celebration of our region.

Wineries

This year over 22 wineries are offering fabulous food, world famous wines, and the best of SA ‘s live entertainment.  The 2012 line-up includes family friendly activities with something for everyone to enjoy!

 To get your experience underway, simply purchase a nab Barossa Gourmet wine glass from the first winery you visit.  Hang on to it as this glass can be used throughout the weekend at participating wineries. Please note this is not a byo event.

Transport

The easiest and safest way to get around this nab Barossa Gourmet Weekend is by using the LinkSA Shuttle Bus service. Three timetabled loops will see you transported to the participating wineries and give you the ability to schedule and plan your day.

Tickets are $25 per day, with multiple pick-up and drop-off points throughout the Barossa.

Pre-booked tickets are available from the Barossa and Gawler Visitor Information Centres, the Barossa Valley Tourist Park – Nuriootpa, Tanunda Caravan Park or you can ring LinkSA on 08 8564 3022.  Tickets will be available to purchase from drivers on the day.

If you are heading up from Adelaide or Gawler you can pre-book your ticket to travel to the Barossa and connect with the shuttle bus service.  Coaches depart from Adelaide both days.

Designated Drivers

Designated Drivers can register at any participating winery and receive a free bottle of water, free tea, coffee and soft drinks are also available to Designated Drivers at selected venues.  Your safety and enjoyment is our primary concern, please consume alcohol responsibly and do not drink and drive.

Stay Over

Better still, make the most of your Gourmet experience and stop over for the weekend!  The Barossa offers a range of accommodation options including cosy B&B’s, resorts, motels and caravan parks – visit the accommodation booking page for a range of options.
