2013 Barossa Film Festival
25 - 26 October 2013, 5:00pm-10:00pm
Location: Various Locations around the Barossa
The Barossa Film Festival is a fun filled carnival of film, beer, food and wine where over 50 films will be screened free of charge in wine cellars, brewery lawns and lava lounges across the Barossa. The Barossa Film Festival celebrates innovative, exciting, groundbreaking indie, underground and genre films the put audience entertainment front and centre.
This is the Barossa, and here we like doing things differently. Instead of rows and rows of identical seats, the audience will be sprawled wherever, watching from beanbags, cushions, couches, on rugs on the lawn. Lean on a barrel, watch it from the bar, from a candlelit cabaret table, whatever takes your fancy. Want to sit in your own director’s chair? Sure. Bring one from home “Shakespeare in the park” style.(And get the filmmakers to sign it.) Eat, drink, yak as you watch, yell out at the screen… This is watching films with your mates. And that’s supposed to be fun.
