Petanquing in Provence. leathered in Lyon, not nice in Nice...'The locals were delightfully nice in thrashing we ladies senseless on our recent petanque tour of Provence...and equally generous with the provision of a feast of pissaladiere, roast lamb fragrant of herbes de Provence, nicoise salad and ratatoullie. 'Tres bon Pierre!'
