This fine, youthful choir, the Kapelle Singers, present Carl Orff's "Carmina Burana", one of the most popular and exciting classical works.
The first section celebrates the "Joys of Spring", the second is set in the "Tavern", drinking and dicing, and the third is devoted to "Love"This thoroughly entertaining work features a chorus, semi-chorus, children's choir, principal Soprano, Tenor and Baritone and the Burnside Symphony Orchestra, celeste and 2 pianos.The concert opens with the Benjamin Britten masterpiece, "Hymn to St Cecelia"
