Luhrs Cottage: See how the Original Barossa Settlers Lived During History Month

Come and wander through the cottage garden into theis unique- roomed pug cottage, built in 1845 by Johann Luhrs, the first Lutheran school teacher in Light Pass. Behind the school is a schol room and underground cellar. Something of interest for everyone. Open Monday to Friday 9:30am-3:30pm and weekends 10am -4pm. Bookings required for groups only.
Entry, which assists the preservation and running of this little treasure is by gold coin donation.
