Pastry Made Easy - Cooking School Without Walls

Location: Artisans of Barossa, Cnr Magnolia & Light Pass Roads, Tanunda
If you are intimidated by the prospect of making pastry then this 3 hour workshop is designed to put you at ease . With pastry and baking there really are only a few simple things to understand:
- Know your ingredients.
- Master a few basic techniques
- Measure accurately & follow your recipe
Taking each of these key points into account we will prepare the following items from scratch:
- Sweet Pastry Apple and almond tart
- Short Pastry Onion and Gruyere flan
- Rough Puff Pastry Lachsschinken and potato pie
At the conclusion of this class you will of course get to enjoy these pastries as part of a long table shared lunch as well as to take away the fruits of your labours.
