New Cycling Track for the Barossa
If you like the Riesling Trail in the Clare Valley, then you'll be excited to know there is a new cycling track being established in the Barossa!
The Barossa Council in conjunction with the Commonwealth Department of Infrastructure, Transport and Regional Development is undertaking an initiative to construct this path along a closed railway line and will link the three major towns of Tanunda, Nuriootpa and Angaston, taking full advantage of the magnificent views across the valley floor.
With the intention to develop interpretive signage and artworks along the trail, this project is very exciting not only for local residents but also for the many visitors that enjoy the cultural and recreational features of the Barossa.
