Kabminye Wines intimate cellar door is open most Saturdays when Ingrid Glastonbury can be found showing the wines her husband Richard created with some of the Barossa’s oldest and newest grape varieties.
From Durif and Carignan to Kerner and fortifieds, there are some truly unique offerings available.
The small cellar door is situated in the side veranda of her historic handmade house, ten minutes from Tanunda, with views across to magnificent old gum trees in Krondorf Creek.
Ingrid’s family formed part of the early Prussian settlement of Krondorf and she loves telling stories about the history of the area and her family connections to it.
The street includes a number of iconic wineries, making it an ideal location for a leisurely stroll or drive from one winery to another.
The cellar door is open on Saturdays from 11am to 5pm and on other days by prior appointment. When the a-frame sign is out on the side of the road, the cellar door is open. Otherwise please feel free to ring to make a time to get together for a chinwag and a taste of Richard's really very interesting wines.
Groups by appointment and under eight people only.
