Jacob's Creek: Visitor Centre

The Jacob’s Creek Visitor Centre is the home of the Jacob’s Creek brand and each year welcomes over 160,000 people from Australia and all over the world. Within the Centre, visitors can taste Jacob’s Creek wines with a casual or structured wine tasting, learn about the region’s history and heritage in the interpretive gallery or enjoy a lunch at Jacob’s Restaurant which offers contemporary Australian food matched to wine recommendations. We also offer other experiences such as the Jacob’s Creek food and wine sensory experience to enhance visitor’s knowledge of food and wine matching.

Outside, visitors can tour the demonstration vineyard of 14 different grapes varieties to learn more about how wine is made, hire a bike and ride the Jack Bobridge trail, take a walk through the picturesque grounds which are home to a wealth of native flora and fauna along the banks of Jacob’s Creek or simply enjoy the views from the deck surrounded by the native Australian plant garden.

It has been recognised as a leading wine tourism site in Australia and was entered into the South Australian Tourism Hall of Fame in 2010 for winning Best Major Tourist Attraction three years in a row. It was also awarded at the 2011 Australian Tourism Awards, Best Tourism Restaurant and Best Tourism Winery. It also a previous winner of the Drinks international award for Best Visitor Centre and is a member of the Ultimate Winery Experiences of Australia
