Seppeltsfield Vineyard Cottage

Wine producers and hosts Peter Milhinch and Sharyn Rogers offer a unique Barossa Valley accommodation and wine experience. An easy one hour drive from Adelaide, Seppeltsfield Vineyard Cottage is a beautifully restored, authentic 1860s German settler's cottage which provides self-contained, private, heritage accommodation located in their vineyard.

Situated near the iconic Seppeltsfield Winery, Hentley Farm and Appellation restaurants, Seppeltsfield Vineyard Cottage is perfect for one couple and sets the standard in luxury, boutique accommodation in the Barossa Valley. Surrounded by extensive lawns, gardens and vineyard, the heritage features of the cottage combine seamlessly with modern luxuries including BOSE entertainment systems, espresso coffee machine, high speed wireless internet access, king bed with white Sheridan linens and underfloor heating. The Cottage is generously stocked with local produce and guests are welcome to explore the original well stocked wine cellar located beneath the cottage.

Peter and Sharyn enjoy helping guests experience the essence of the Barossa; food, wine, heritage, vineyards and hospitality. Service excellence and a friendly welcoming manner is the key to their success and ten years experience as hosts to both domestic and international guests helps them anticipate and hopefully exceed guest expectations.

Since opening in 2004, Seppeltsfield Vineyard Cottage has won three National and seven South Australian Tourism Awards and has been twice inducted into the SA Tourism Awards Hall of Fame. Since 2011, Sharyn has volunteered her time as a South Australian Tourism Awards Judge.

Prior to becoming successful hosts and wine producers, Peter and Sharyn had professional backgrounds, Peter in Optometry, Sharyn in Midwifery with a degree in Business Management.

In 1999 they established their 10 acre vineyard and since 2003 have produced single vineyard, premium Barossa wines under the Milhinch Wines Seize the Day label.

Peter and Sharyn are located nearby on the property and offer guests the opportunity to wander through their vineyard with them and discover why the Barossa is one of the world’s premier wine regions.
