Williamstown is a southern gateway, happily situated between the Barossa and the Adelaide Hills wine region and surrounded on all sides by beautiful and diverse scenery including the Mt Crawford Forest Reserve, Parra Wirra Recreation Park, the Barossa Goldfields, the Warren Reservoir and Whispering Wall and the Hale Conservation Park.

The town centre boasts a number of cellar doors including Linfield Wines and TeAro Estate who also offer a calendar of events and live music in addition to a range of cooler climate wines. Appetites of more varied persuasions are well catered for under the one roof at Bar 41, a collective enterprise featuring Bar 41 Café, Winestains Designs’ hand crafted pieces made from aged wine barrels and Dragonfly Antiques. There are also a number of quirky op shops and a small skate park and playground for children.

A number of well-appointed and cosy accommodation options make Williamstown a lovely place to stop and stay on your way into the Barossa.
