Lou Miranda Estate is a family owned boutique winery. Lou, his wife Val and his daughters Lisa and Victoria produce premium quality wines under the Leone and Lou Miranda Estate name using fruit from their Estate owned Barossa Valley vineyards. At Lou Miranda Estate we are dedicated to producing wines from the soil to the bottle, the wines available in the cellar door, we believe give a holistic view of the different style of wines we produce.
The beautiful winery with its warm and inviting cellar door is also home to our restaurant, serving modern Italian cuisine. We are able to couple our love of food and wine together. We believe good wine and food should be shared amongst family and friends and the restaurant is testament to this. Sitting in the restaurant looking out through the cathedral style windows onto our beautiful market garden and vineyards allows you to embrace this wonderful lifestyle.
The Estate specialises in both red and white wines. This is a snapshot of a few that we have to offer. Pinot Grigio, a delicate white wine with soft pear overtones. Old Vine Shiraz, planted in 1907, a typical Barossa Shiraz, big, bold with great spice palate. Old Vine Mourvedre, the best of both worlds, the spice of the Shiraz and the softness of the Mourvedre, this vineyard was planted in 1897. Sagrantino, a new grape variety to the Barossa and a personal favourite of Lou's. The wine has soft lifted fruit with earthy overtones and crisp dry finish. Also try our fortified products ranging from 5 years old to 50 years old, as well as Sparkling Shiraz, a delicious blend of spicy fruit and bubbles.
