The Williamstown Swimming Pool is a much-loved country swimming pool located in the heart of Barossa, offering a relaxed and family-friendly place to cool off during the warmer months.
Situated alongside the Williamstown Queen Victoria Jubilee Caravan Park, the pool features a large main swimming pool, a dedicated children’s wading pool, and BBQ facilities. Shaded picnic areas, grassy surrounds and pool toys available for use make it an ideal spot for families, locals and visitors to enjoy a summer day outdoors.
The pool operates seasonally and opens on days when the forecast temperature for Nuriootpa/Williamstown, as advised by the Bureau of Meteorology at 5pm the day prior, is 25 degrees or above. On hotter days, when the forecast temperature reaches 34 degrees or above, the pool may extend opening hours until 8pm, subject to management discretion.
Regular opening hours are Monday to Friday from 3.30pm to 7pm, Saturday from 10am to 7pm, and Sunday from 12 noon to 7pm. During school holidays, weekday sessions run from 6am to 10am and 12 noon to 7pm. Public holiday hours are 12 noon to 7pm.
Visitors are encouraged to check the Barossa Council website or the Williamstown Swimming Pool Facebook page for the latest opening times, conditions and events.
