Nestled in the heart of the Barossa Valley, Two Sisters Wine Company is more than just a winery—it’s a living legacy of passion, heritage, and family steeped in six generations of viticulture and winemaking heritage.
Their story began in the 1800s, when two German families sought freedom in the sun-drenched Barossa Valley. Through marriage, they intertwined not just their lives but a lasting viticultural tradition.
The name Two Sisters is a tribute to both past and future—honouring the two pioneering families who laid the foundation of our winemaking tradition, while celebrating the two generations of sisters who will carry it forward.
The Estate sits on the last remaining parcel of land procured by their family’s ancestor, Christian Auricht, adjacent to the world’s oldest surviving Shiraz vineyard, which he planted back in 1843.—an enduring symbol of our deep-rooted history.
Today, they craft wines with the same dedication and respect for the land, from their flagship Shiraz, nurtured in rich red loam soils, to our treasured 65-year-old Grenache vines, Mourvèdre, and elegant Adelaide Hills sparkling wines, every bottle is a tribute to tradition while embracing innovation.
More than just a winery, Two Sisters is a place where heritage, craftsmanship, and storytelling come together in every glass. Two Sisters offers an exclusive cellar door experience (by appointment only).
