Barossa Coffee Roasters

Barossa Coffee RoastersEstablished in 2010 after years of roasting coffee for their own pleasure, Paul and Janelle Amos created Barossa Coffee Roasters, tucked away on their vineyard property on the Barossa’s fertile Western Ridge at Seppeltsfield. With their young family they set up shop at the weekly Farmers Market and filled the missing link in the regional food culture of high grade, traceable, fresh roasted coffee.

Finishing up the Farmers Market to the end of 2016, the family continue to share their coffee with the region they love through selected stockists.

The ‘People and Planet Friendly’ philosophy and integrity behind the product is mirrored on the families first hand experience as grape growers and contributors to the Barossa Community. Ethically Paul and Janelle insist on sourcing coffee from farms and families at origin who are paid fairly and treated with respect for their efforts, just as they are treated in their local relationships as grape growers.

A hands on boutique operation that is more like a craft than a production. Small batch and fresh every week, beans are crafted to be enjoyed within four weeks of roast date while still breathing flavour and life.

Paul and Janelle treat their coffee roasting as a privilege and a joy, giving the business room to breathe and grow sustainability, not by demand, and most importably in harmony with the environment and their family life.

South Australia Regional Award Winner in Small Business for 2015, Barossa Coffee Roasters is featured on the menu of many of the Barossa’s fine dining restaurants, eateries and cellar doors around the region.

The week's fresh roast is available online at and in person from Nuriootpa Foodland and Tanunda Foodland, as well as selected retail partners throughout the Barossa and beyond.
