Eleni Barossa Hand Made

EleniEleni obtained a Cordon Bleu’s Certificate from Sillwood College in Cape Town and a BA Degree in the Culinary Arts from the University of Orebro in Sweden.

Since coming to the Barossa Valley 18 years ago Eleni was contracted to Maggie Beer as a product developer. She subsequently worked as a chef at Yalumba, Saltrams, Jacobs Creek and Vintner’s Bar and Grill.

She finally branched out on her own in 2009 to establish Eleni Barossa Hand-Made.

Eleni has developed a unique range of hand baked breads and pastries. Her philosophy is to use locally sourced products as far as possible. Each product is made using traditional methods. Many of her recipes have been gathered during her working life from around the world.

Aside from running one of the most popular stands at the Barossa Farmers Market, Eleni now also supplies her products to many local Restaurants, Wineries and Retailers.
