Barossa Wine Auction

The Barossa Wine Auction has been an integral part of the Barossa Vintage Festival since 1965. In 2015, the Barossa wine community embarked on an exciting evolution of this event, partnering with Langton's Fine Wine Auction House.

This move has expanded the Barossa offer to wine collectors the world over and created a truly hallmark wine event in the Southern Hemisphere.

Held every two years in April, the auction is held both online and as dynamic live auctions. Wine collectors from around the world bid for rare and distinguished lots, positioning Barossa as Australia's premium wine region.

In 2021, for the first time, the Barossa Wine Auction will expand to include a live event held in Sydney CBD, featuring 30 unique lots.

A share of the profits support national and local charities. In 2021 a share of the proceeds will be donated to the BGWA Community Fund, supporting the mental health and wellness of our regional wine community.
