Barossa Wine Auction

A landmark event of the Barossa Vintage Festival, the Barossa Wine Auction is a unique opportunity for bidders around the world to secure iconic collections of wines directly from our region's most celebrated winemakers.

The Barossa Wine Auction has been an integral part of the Barossa Vintage Festival since 1965. In 2015, the Barossa wine community embarked on an exciting evolution of this event, partnering with Langton's Fine Wine Auction House.

This move has expanded the Barossa offer to wine collectors the world over and created a truly hallmark wine event in the Southern Hemisphere.

Held every two years in April, the auction is held both online and as dynamic live and silent auctions. Wine collectors from around the world bid for rare and distinguished lots, positioning Barossa as Australia's premium wine region.

A share of the profits support national and local charities. In 2019 a share of the Barossa Wine Auction proceeds went to the McGrath Foundation, Barossa Enterprises and Foundation Barossa, as well as supporting the Barossa Vintage Festival production.
