Barossa Seasons – Barossa

Barossa Seasons

Welcome to Barossa Seasons, a seasonal celebration of wine, food and experiences produced by Tourism Barossa. This inaugural program is designed to encourage visitors to the region all year round and it all begins on July 6-8 with Barossa Seasons: Winter.
Barossa Burn
Featuring seven curated wine and food events that celebrate food from the fire and the productive seasons that have passed, Barossa Seasons: Winter will showcase the region’s strong heritage and authentic produce with unique experiences on offer.

Opening Barossa Seasons: Winter on Friday 6 July will be Winterville, a two-day event that will be Barossa’s answer to Christmas in July, starting with an all singing and dancing Christmas Cocktail party at the Distillery. On Saturday 7 July, Winterville will welcome a European Style Christmas Fair, held at Provenance in Nuriootpa for kids and kids at heart. For the sweeter side of life, you can head to Liebichwein for a tasting of Warming Fortifieds and Chocolate Truffles on the same day.  For the lovers of food from the fire, Lyndoch Hill will be hosting Fire on the Hill (Breakfast), as well as Feast & Fire (Dinner), providing the famished with a feast for the start and the end of our Saturday. Winding down our weekend on Sunday July 8 will be 1918 Bistro & Grill, celebrating their 100th year with 1918 Centenary Lunch featuring popular Barossan historian, Angela Heuzenroeder. Or if your family and friends are more for the hands-on style of feasting, Schild Estate’s Fire Pit Feast will allow you to cook your own feast of Barossan meats and garden produce to your own taste.
