Working with the encaustic medium, she aims to capture the essence of the natural world in her art. The unpredictable and transformative qualities of encaustic painting resonate with the ever-changing elements of nature, allowing her to explore textures, colours, and forms in a way that reflects the organic flow of the environment.
By utilising encaustic medium, she is able to build up layers, creating depth and complexity in each piece. This process mirrors the layers of existence within nature itself, like timelines laid in the landscapes that stretch before us.
