Head to the Barossa Farmers Market on Saturday 16 August for a deliciously cool and creamy experience! Julie, the talented creator behind Barossa Valley Ice Cream, will be demonstrating the art of making homemade ice cream using our Kitchen Library’s brand-new Cuisinart Ice Cream Machine.
This free, live demonstration will show you just how easy — and fun — it is to create fresh, flavourful ice cream at home. Julie will share her tips, techniques, and flavour inspiration, while whipping up a batch of decadent ice cream right before your eyes.
The Barossa Farmers Market Kitchen Library is a community lending service, offering members access to quality kitchen equipment without the cost of ownership. Stallholders and members are welcome to borrow the ice cream machine and other appliances — perfect for trying new recipes, entertaining guests, or simply treating the family.
While you’re at the Market, browse our stalls for the freshest local produce, artisan baked goods, small-batch condiments, and more — perfect companions for your homemade frozen treats.
Whether you’re a market regular, a foodie looking to up your dessert game, or simply love ice cream, this is a tasty event not to be missed.
