The final siren has sounded on AFL Gather Round 2025 and what a debut it was for the Barossa.

For the first time Barossa hosted top-tier AFL action, with Barossa Park delivering two unmissable games set against a backdrop of vineyards and autumn skies. But the Festival of Footy was about more than just the game.

Across one epic weekend, the Barossa came alive – from long lunches and wine tastings to live music and community celebrations. It was a showcase of what our region does best: bringing people together through shared experiences, local flavour, and warm hospitality.

Already missing the roar of the crowd? AFL Gather Round is confirmed to return to South Australia in 2026 and the Barossa is ready.
