The Barossa Regional Gallery and Barossa Museum present:

Visioning – an exhibition exploring how art shapes the way we see the Barossa, past and present.

In 1844, artist George French Angas captured early images of the Barossa, later published in South Australia Illustrated (1847) as both art and colonial publicity. His works, later transformed to lithographs, presented a fertile, orderly landscape that helped shape perceptions of South Australia. Today, these works are referenced to sit alongside new creative Visions by poet Daniel Fuller, photographer Aidan Dorrian, and visual artist Jacob Logos. Together they invite audiences to reflect on how art documents, interprets, and shapes the story of the Barossa.

Open 10am to 3pm on Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Please note that the Barossa Regional Gallery has temporarily relocated to The Barossa Museum at 47 Murray Street whilst extensive renovations take place at the original site.
