Our Farmers Markets

With an unbroken love of food that stretches back over 150 years, Barossans have been coming together to taste, share, shop and catch up on the latest news at markets for a very long time.

Our Farmers' Markets are the Cellar Doors of our living food culture, where you can meet the artisans and producers who have nurtured your food from paddock to plate, and learn how to live a little bit of the Barossa good life.

The Barossa Farmers Market

Open every Saturday

740 Stockwell Road, Angaston

The Barossa Farmers Market is a genuine farmers market, with produce proudly sourced from local growers, makers, and food artisans. Permanently located undercover in the Vintners Sheds, Angaston, you can do your shopping rain, hail or shine throughout the year.

With a diverse array of stallholders, you’ll find a beautiful and abundant selection of fresh fruit and vegetables, herbs, meats, speciality bread, Barossa’s famous smallgoods, fresh milk, stunning pastries and baked goods, honey, olive oil and olives, freshly roasted coffee, gin and confectionery. Pull together the makings of a hearty picnic, or think ahead to 5pm and graze as the locals do on a selection of cured meats, olives, bread and condiments.

Enthusiastic cooks will find an array of world-class and award-winning artisan produce at their fingertips - the perfect excuse to cook up a storm and eat in.

The legendary breakfast bar buzzes on a Saturday morning, offering a chance for you to enjoy a coffee and breakfast while watching the hustle and bustle of the market where the locals come to shop, chat and catch up, and visitors are always welcomed by a warm country atmosphere.

The Breakfast Bar is open from 8.30am to 11am.
