This spectacular rural setting with surrounding vineyards is located on eighteen secluded acres in the beautiful area of Moculta only eight kilometres drive to the historic town of Angaston, which has plenty of attractions and activities including an adventure station, cycle track, historic walks and shopping. 1858 Barossa Accommodation is a perfect base to explore the Barossa Valley’s finest cellar doors, eateries, gin distilleries, craft breweries and taverns.

The original farmhouse was built around the 1850’s and has been in the Rosenzweig family for many generations. Recently refurbished by the Lee family preserving all the farmhouse charm. Fitted with quality antique furnishings , it is ideal for groups of friends or families and perfect for a weekend stay or a longer to explore Barossa and Eden Valley’s famous wine region.

1858 has a fully equipped kitchen with European appliances, including microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, oven, stove and a Nespresso coffeemaker. The historic baker’s oven is a feature to enjoy and is like stepping back in time. Complimentary tea, coffee and Barossa Valley Jersey Fresh milk are provided as well as two bottles of premium hand crafted Gumpara Wine from their seventh-generation family-owned vineyard in the Barossa Valley.
