Langmeil Winery Experiences

Langmeil Winery Cellar Door is open from 10am to 4pm daily. Tastings are a seated experience. Situated on the site of the original Langmeil Village, one of the first to be settled in the Barossa, you are encouraged to take your time to explore the grounds and taste the the wines. Self-guided tour maps are available from the staff at Cellar Door. Allow 1 to 2 hours for your visit.

For something a little more structured you can pre-book an Old Vine Garden Experience which is hosted by our knowledgeable staff. You will be ushered to our Freedom room for a seated tasting of our Old Vine Garden wines in grape variety specific Riedel glassware. $50 per person, maximum of 4 people (unless by prior arrangement). Daily at 10am or 2pm. Pre-booking is essential. Allow up to 1 hour for this tasting.

We also have our guided Freedom Experience tour and taste. Hear the history of the Barossa and the early settlers and how the villages of the Barossa emerged and the trials and tribulations they endured. A visit to the oldest known Shiraz vineyard and a tipple or two down in the cellar is included. $150 per person, suitable for up to 8 people. Monday to Friday only. Pre-booking is essential. Allow 2 to 3 hours for this experience.
