Bon Chevon is a family owned and run farming business at Ebenezer in the Barossa Valley. Owners, Owen and Tracy Bonython, along with their family, breed Boer goats to produce gourmet meat for local restaurants and butchers. Bon Chevon was officially launched in 2016 and is continuing to grow. The demand for quality goat meat products in the Barossa Valley is increasing and consumers are enjoying the opportunity to purchase the lean and healthy red meat option.

On farm, Bon Chevon practices low stress stock handling with their animals in an effort to produce the most tender and flavoursome product possible. They also have a strong focus on improving their farming techniques and continuously working towards implementing sustainable agriculture practices.

At present, sales are only in the form of whole and half-carcasses and are commonly direct to local restaurants and butchers. However, Bon Chevon are also happy to receive private orders for processed whole carcasses.

Bon Chevon goat meat can be found in two local restaurants regularly, FINO Seppeltsfield & 1918 Bistro & Grill, as well as other restaurants as an occasional special menu item. Bon Chevon also have a great relationship with Thornby Fine Meats who make individual goat meat cuts available to consumers in the Barossa Valley.
