Schubert Estate is on Roennfeldt Road, Marananga in the Barossa Valley, an area highly regarded for its vineyards. Schubert Estate began in the 1890s when George Johann Christian Schubert and his family migrated from Prussia and settled in the township of Marananga in the Barossa Valley. Grapes have been grown on the property for wine production since 1915.
The year 2000, with the production of a single barrel of wine saw the first wine released under the Schubert Estate label, the Goose-yard Block Shiraz. Nearly two decades later our portfolio has grown to include a range of premium Shiraz wines and both a dry and a sweet Viognier all grown on our estate vineyard.
We also have a Cellar Door open 9am-5pm weekdays at 26 Kensington Road Rose Park South Australia.
Schubert Estate is proudly South Australian with the greater portion of the production exported overseas. Today, Schubert Estate remains a 5 red star rated winery awarded by James Halliday.
