Getting Here

The Barossa is located in South Australia, about 70km north-east of Adelaide, the state’s capital city. Just an hour’s drive north east of the Adelaide airport, it’s simple to jump in your car (or a hire car) and quickly find yourself in the middle of one of the world’s most famous wine regions. Once you arrive, you will find it is only a short drive between the towns and hamlets.

Adelaide is well serviced by regular domestic and international flights. Once you arrive in Adelaide there are plenty of options to complete your journey to the Barossa. Car hire, Barossa tour operators and public transport are all available. For private charters there is a light-plane airport at Parafield, just 45 minutes south of the Barossa in metropolitan Adelaide. For a list of all domestic, international, regional and charter services available, please visit the Adelaide Airport Website.
