Start your Butcher, Baker, Winemaker Trail adventure by purchasing a VIP Voucher booklet and gourmet picnic hamper for only $89 at the Barossa Visitor Information Centre, or online here. You can also purchase your hamper online and collect it from either the Gawler Visitor Information Centre or the Kapunda Visitor Information Centre. 

Your gourmet picnic hamper contains a stainless steel cheese knife, cheese board, two Barossa wine glasses, napkins, condiments dish and printed Trail Map – everything you need to get started!

Now, take a few moments to plan the first few steps of your culinary adventure through the Barossa and don’t forget to ask for an insider’s tip or two from our wonderful Visitor Information Centre staff – you can’t beat local knowledge. 

And then you’re off! Adventuring is thirsty work so start by paying a visit to one of our participating cellars doors and use a VIP voucher to collect your bottle of wine to the value of $20.

Freshly baked bread rolls from either Apex Bakery, Linke’s Bakehouse and Pantry or Tanunda Bakery.

Local, handmade cheese, and crackers from the Barossa Valley Cheese Company

A traditionally smoked Barossa mettwurst from Linke’s Central Meat Store or Steiny’s Traditional Mettwurst.

Plump, meaty olives from Vasse Virgin at Seppeltsfield.

Traditional fruit paste from Maggie Beer's Farm Shop.  

A delicious, zesty relish from Zimmy’s Barossa Valley Produce; and

Tasty dried fruits from Gully Gardens.
