Owned and operated by vignerons and wine producers Wendy Allan and Tony Brooks, Pindarie Cellar Door, 750 acre sheep farm with 100 acres of vineyard are located on the Barossa Valley’s Western Ridge with spectacular views of the Barossa Ranges.
Commence with a guided short walk up a hill via native bushland to see the entire property and beyond . Return via the vineyard to learn why terroir is important and about growing grapes on the Western Ridge of the Barossa. Experience seasonal changes of vine growth in the vineyard- Spring growth, harvest in summer and pruning in winter. During harvest time, guests may have the chance to taste the different grapes. Return to the Stables Wine room for a guided wine tasting of award winning wines followed by a country style three course grazing lunch. In warmer months you can sit under the pepper tree to marvel at the views or if cold, sit inside with the warmth of an open fire.
