At Laughing Jack, things are done a little differently… a boutique family winery nestled on the Western Ridge. Guests are warmly welcomed to learn not just about their wines but to come and be part of the family for a little while.
Their family roots run deep throughout the region, they’ve been growing grapes in the Barossa Valley for well over a hundred years. At Laughing Jack each wine produced has been nurtured by the family on its journey to the bottle. They tend to the rich soil, prune each vineyard by hand and pick grapes with care, just as their many generations have before. Following traditional winemaking methods, unrushed open top fermentation, gentle basket pressing and generous time in barrel. You can see that they are most certainly focussed on small batch premium wines.
One of the rare gems in the region that are 100% estate grown and made. The family take great pride in knowing the wine you’re enjoying has been produced with great passion.
They do hope to meet you when you plan your visit, come and be part of their family for a while!
The winery and Cellar Door is located 10 mins from Tanunda and hosts small groups up to 6 people. Bookings are encouraged.
